How Motoplay Became the Global Leader in Motorcycle CarPlay (and the Leap to France)

You know that frustration of sticking your phone to the handlebars and praying that the camera doesn't die from the vibrations? Exactly. Our story started a bit like that. We wanted a decent solution for navigating on a motorcycle, but the market only offered dubious plastic screens that would jam mid-ride or looked like a brick.

It wasn't good enough. We decided to create Motoplay with a very clear goal. To make the best CarPlay and Android Auto system for motorcycles in the world. And the truth is, the result exceeded our own expectations.

What sets us apart from the rest

If you look at most generic GPS devices or screens, the aesthetics are usually terrible. We chose a different path. The design had to be clean, modern, and minimalist. A careful visual presentation, without useless buttons and with intuitive menus.

But a beautiful screen isn't much use if the system breaks down in the heat. That's our biggest advantage. We removed the internal lithium batteries. You can ride for hours under intense sun and the equipment won't shut down due to overheating. The Bluetooth connection is absurdly stable, and rain... well, rain simply isn't a problem with the waterproof certification. It's just mount, turn on the ignition, and go. No complications, and your phone is safe in your pocket.

From Portugal to French roads

Growth here was tremendous. People in Portugal quickly realized they didn't need to spend a fortune on an outdated traditional GPS to have top-notch navigation. But we started noticing something curious. We were receiving more and more messages and orders from abroad.

The market in France is colossal. The two-wheel culture there is taken very seriously, whether in daily traffic jams or on those epic routes in the Alps. French bikers were looking for exactly this: reliability and a clean design.

It made sense. In fact, it was the logical next step. It is with immense pride that we announce the official expansion of our Portuguese brand with the launch of motoplay.fr.

It's the same concept and the same obsession with detail, now with an operation entirely dedicated and optimized for the French market. We are taking our vision beyond borders, and I confess that the feeling of seeing a project born here reach this level is indescribable.
